We would like to bring PTO back to BES. Some parents have expressed interest, but it takes more than a few to make PTO possible. Join us on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 5:00 to elect officers, set goals, and plan events for the school year. Parents, guardians, and teachers are welcome. We need Y.O.U.

This is a friendly reminder that if your student is to do something different than what they normally do after school, we must have a note. If there is an emergency and a note is not sent, please call the school before 2:00. Students are not with their regular teacher at the end of the day, so calling before 2:00 ensures that the message is relayed to the student and their regular teacher. If there is a change in students going to the library, please call the library to inform them of the change as well as the school. Thank you!

Don't forget to get those sponsors and/or donations for the Walk-A-Thon!
On Thursday, October 31, 2024, we will hold our annual Title I meeting at 1:00 before our other activities. Students will be participating in a Walk-A-Thon at BES. Students will have 30 minutes to complete as many laps as possible on the field. The funds will go to help pay for student incentives such as field trips, assemblies, and much more.
We are combining these events with our annual Trunk-or-Treat on the field. Title I Meeting will be in the cafeteria at 1:00. The Walk-A-Thon will begin at 1:30 pm with Trunk-or-Treat immediately after. Please keep this in mind when purchasing a costume for your child. Parents are encouraged to come walk with their child and stay for the afternoon activities. Rain date for the Walk-a-Thon and Trunk or Treat is scheduled for Monday, November 4, 2024.
Preschool students must be accompanied by an adult if participating in the Walk-A-Thon.
If you need an extra form, they are available in the office.

We are excited to announce that we will be having an ice cream social to celebrate Grandparent’s Day this year! On Friday, September 6th, we invite grandparents/grand’friends’ to join your student here at our school. Grades 3-5 will be at 2:00. Grades K-2 will be at 2:30. This is not for parents, siblings, etc. We realize that some of our grandparents may not be able to be here, so if there is a grand’friend’ in your child’s life that would like to attend, please invite them to join us.
