This is just a reminder that students in grades first through fifth will be going on a field trip Monday December 19. If your child hasn’t brought back a signed permission page, they will remain at school. The first bus taking fourth and fifth grades will be leaving the school at approximately 8:15 am for Glenville. First through third grades will depart on the second bus at approximately 10:00 am. We expect both buses to return to Burnsville at around 2:30pm. Please be sure that if you marked your child for a packed lunch that they bring it with them to school. Thank you and have a great weekend.

Good Morning, In partnership with the WVDE and Maverick Health, BCS is excited to be offering free Covid testing at Braxton County High School on 12/30/21 from 7:30am-1:30pm.  The clinic will be a drive-thru clinic.  Students and staff are priority for testing, but family members and community members are also able to test free. The test is a saliva sample PCR test with an estimated 24-hour turnaround time. Hopefully, the testing will allow an opportunity to identify cases prior to return on 1/3/22.  Please see link below: https://labpass.com/en/registration?access_code=WVBraxtonCounty
