Braxton County Middle School will be having Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday, November 20th from 4 to 6 pm. Please make plans to attend.
BCMS Student Council is hosting a canned food drive November 10-19.
BCMS Wrestling will start on Monday, November 10th from 4 to 6 pm with a parent meeting immediately following the first practice. All students are required to have an annual sports physical completed and a 2.0 or higher GPA for the previous semester to be able to participate.

Braxton County Middle School Girls Basketball will be having flex practice Tuesday, October 28th and Thursday, October 30th from 6 to 8 pm at the middle school. Girls basketball tryouts will be held on Monday, November 3rd and Tuesday, November 4th from 4 to 6 pm. Boys basketball will have tryouts on Monday, November 10th and Tuesday, November 11th from 4 to 6 pm. All students are required to have an annual sport physical completed and turned in to the school or coach before they can participate in practice or tryouts. Students are also required to have a 2.0 or higher GPA semester average from the previous semester to be eligible to play any sport. If you have questions, please contact the school at 304-765-2644.
Braxton County Middle School will be having a Red Ribbon Week spirit week Monday, October 27th through Friday, October 31st.

Braxton County Middle School will be having a Pink Out Challenge day tomorrow, Thursday, October 23rd. All staff and students are encouraged to wear pink and spread awareness.
We have a large collection of misplaced items at BCMS. If your student is missing items, please ask them to check the benches in the main hallway.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 4th is a Professional Learning day for all Braxton County staff. Students do not attend school on that day. Again, there is no school for students on Wednesday, October 4th. Thank you and have a great evening.

Braxton County Middle School will be having parent teacher conferences on Monday, September 22nd from 4 to 6 pm. Appointments are not needed. We will also be having a parent volunteer training from 4 to 5:30 that evening. Please make plans to attend.
Today was a fantastic day here at Braxton County Middle School. The start of the 2025-2026 school year is looking really good. Would like to remind students to please give parents all paperwork that was sent home today. Flatwoods Wendy's is hosting a community day. A percentage of all sales will go to the Braxton County Knights Football team. This will happen on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Come out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and support the Braxton Knights.
This is a notice to parents of upcoming 7th grade BCMS students. WV state law requires all upcoming 7th graders to show proof of the following vaccines. Tdap and Meningococcal vaccine. Students will not be permitted the first day of school without proof of these vaccinations. These can be obtained through your child's pediatrician, local health department, care express, and community care.

All Braxton County Middle School students must bring their laptops and chargers to school tomorrow, Friday, May 30th. All laptops will remain at school and will be collected for our IT department next week. Thank you for helping with this process and have a great evening,
Braxton County Middle School football sign-ups will be held tomorrow evening, May 29th at 6 PM in the BCMS cafeteria.
Braxton County Middle School will be conducting GSA testing Thursday, May 15th through Tuesday, May 20th. Please make every effort to have your student to school before 8 AM and to have their laptops fully charged to ensure that they are able to complete testing.
